NCCF encourages teachers to apply for Service Learning Mini-Grant

Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) is now accepting Service Learning Mini-Grants Program applications for the 2020-2021 school year. Local middle and high school teachers are encouraged to apply for projects that combine community service and classroom learning.

This school year, five school districts received fifteen grants totaling $7,410. Classrooms from all disciplines participate in this program: health, music, English, art, trades, and much more.

NCCF’s Applebee’s Flapjack Breakfast Fundraiser supports the Service Learning Program. Our board, staff, and volunteers invite all our friends and neighbors for this year’s fundraiser on Saturday, March 21.

Applications are available on our website, as well as the option to apply electronically, www.nccfoundation.org/service-learning. Complete the form and return to NCCF by March 31. The committee will review all applications and announce the awards in June 2020. Visit the website to learn more about this program. You may also call the office at 716-366-4892 or send an e-mail to nccf@nccfoundation.org.

The NCCF, incorporated in 1986, is a tax-exempt charitable organization. Since its establishment, the NCCF has distributed more than $15.5 million in the community through its various grant programs. It is an organization inherently committed to enriching the northern Chautauqua community and encouraging local philanthropy. For more information on the NCCF, visit www.nccfoundation.org or call 366-4892.
