Woman charged after Ripley traffic stop
RIPLEY — A Westfield woman was charged after an incident on Route 5 late Wednesday evening.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to an address in the town of Ripley for a reported suspicious person around 11:40 p.m. Upon arrival a vehicle was located on the side of the road.
The operator was identified as 36-year-old Catherine Tooley. Tooley was found to have operated a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Tooley was also found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana and a hypodermic instrument. Tooley was charged with criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana.
She is to be in the Town of Ripley Court at a later date.
