Submitted Photo.

The WNY Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps has begun preparing for their 2020 season. This includes adding a new song, “Copacabana” to the repertoire which includes “Hang ‘Em High/Mag 7,” “New York, New York,” “America,” “Gonna Fly Now,” “Sunrise Lady” and “Elk’s Parade.” The corps is always looking for new members. If you’re a current horn player or drummer you can bring your playing to the next level by playing in the drum corps. The corps is free to participate in. Jack Kujawa, corps advisor, stated, “This corps is so much fun to be around and the talent is incredible. This is the perfect time to join because you have a lot of time to learn the music.” Dave Fridmann will again serve as corps director. Dave also works with the drum line and is the drum sergeant. The horn instructor/arranger position is again in the capable hands of Jonathon Fridmann and Mateo Mendez. Friends and family members are welcome to all corps functions. If interested, email wnyalumni@gmail.com. You don’t want to miss out on this great opportunity!
