Audubon photography club meeting

The Audubon Nature Photography Club will meet at 6:15 p.m. in the auditorium of the Audubon Community Nature Center, 1600 Riverside Road, Jamestown. Gowanda Loyal Order of Moose Open Air Community Flea Market & Basket Raffle

The Gowanda Loyal Order of Moose, located at 201 Aldrich St., Gowanda, will hold an Open Air Community Flea Market & Basket Raffle will take place beginning at 8 a.m. The $25 donation per spot covers a 15×15 area. Forestville Yard Sales and Chicken Barbecue

The community of Forestville will be holding yard sales from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a list of sale locations available at Cave’s Market on the day of sales. There will be a chicken barbecue at Forestville Fire Hall from noon until sold out. The event is drive-through only. For the cost of $10 per dinner, patrons receive chicken, bacon ranch mac salad, corn on the cob, roll and key lime pie.

South Dayton American Legion Post 1593 walk to benefit veterans

The South Dayton American Legion, 4 Mill St., will hold its annual walk, with sign-in starting at 11 a.m. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for kids 11 to 18 years of age and children under 10 walk for free. The walk will proceed around the Village of South Dayton and back to the Legion where walkers will receive a free lunch and there will be a Blue Star Mothers presentation as well as a Chinese auction and 50/50’s. Proceeds benefit the Cattaraugus County, Joseph P. Dwyer Veterans Peer to Peer Program.

Lakeshore Humane Society open adoption

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. Masks covering the nose and mouth must be worn at all times on the grounds of LHS. Trinity United Church of Christ free community meal

The Trinity United Church, located at Erie Avenue and Park Street, Gowanda, will host a take-out only free community meal at the Park Street entrance from 4 to 6 p.m. Patrons are asked to bring their own bag and wear a mask. The menu includes hot dog with roll, macaroni salad, fruited gelatin and a cookie. Free will donations are appreciated but not necessary. South Dayton American Legion Post 1593 drive-through chicken barbecue

The Sons of the Legion will be holding a drive-through chicken barbecue beginning at noon. The cost is $11 per dinner, which includes Weidner’s chicken, two sides, roll and dessert. There are no pre-sale tickets, so it is on a first come-first serve basis.

Cassadaga Farmers’ Market
