SHERIDAN — The “Sheridan Happy Seniors” held their monthly meeting on July 9. While waiting for lunch to arrive, everyone was catching up on things from the previous meeting. A lunch of pizza and wings were enjoyed by everyone.

On Friday, Aug. 13, the “Sheridan Happy Seniors” will have their last meeting. All members are encouraged to attend the Silver Creek Seniors meetings which are held on Tuesdays at 1 p.m.

Earl Sheeler was the recipient of the Riles & Woolley drawing. Extra 50/50 drawings were won by: Ruth Sheeler, Eleanor Lemiszko, Ed Newman and Angie Logan. Pauline Flitt called Bingo. Angie won 4 games and Lorrie Newman won 3 games. Other winners were: Ruth Sheeler, Rose Cerrie, Jan Polisoto and Eleanor.

The meeting ended with a lovely reading by Chaplin Pauline.

The final meeting of the “Sheridan Happy Seniors” will be on Friday, August 13 . The luncheon will consist of grilled hot dogs and corn on the cob . There will be cake and ice cream for dessert.

Hopefully all the “Sheridan Happy Seniors” will be attending this final meeting. Once again all members are encouraged to join the Silver Creek Seniors meetings on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. Hope everyone stays safe and healthy. Mark your calendar for Friday, Aug. 13 in August at noon.
