Opt-out hearing set for Silver Creek

SILVER CREEK — The village of Silver Creek will host a public hearing at 6:45 pm on Monday, Sept. 20, at the village hall regarding the opting out of licensing and establishing retail cannabis dispensaries and/or on-site cannabis consumption establishments. A regular meeting of the village board will be held afterward. Anyone who wishes to attend via video or telephone will need to contact the clerk’s office at 934-3240 for the codes.

Brocton Legion group meets today

BROCTON — The Sons of the American Legion, Squad 434 Brocton, will resume monthly meetings starting in September. The next meeting is scheduled for today at the Brocton Legion post starting at 7 pm. Future meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month. The Legion post is located at 120 West Main st. Brocton, NY.

The Dunkirk Memorial American Legion Auxiliary Unit 62 monthly meeting will be held at 7 p.m. today at Post 62, 211 Central Ave. Auxiliary members are encouraged to attend and new members always welcome.
