CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ CONEWANGO — Joshua T. Press, 29, of Conewango, was taken into custody at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday. Deputies came into contact with Press on an unrelated incident and found that he was wanted out of Chautauqua County Court. He was later transferred over to Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies. He is scheduled to appear in court later.

¯ CONEWANGO — Nicholas M. Marczynski, 27, of Randolph, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment. Marczynski was taken into custody for an alleged order of protection violation that occurred earlier. Marczynski turned himself in to the Sheriff’s Office where he was processed and released. Marczynski is scheduled to appear in Leon Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ CASSADAGA — Damion M. Hill, 22, of Buffalo, and Mackenzie Briggs, 24, of Tonawanda, were each charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny. Deputies at 1:22 a.m. Sunday responded to an alarm on Route 60 in Cassadaga. It was found that forced entry was used to enter a business. A short time later the Fredonia Police Department stopped a vehicle, and an investigation found that the occupants were allegedly involved in the burglary. Hill and Briggs were transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
