Dunkirk Seniors plan upcoming trips

The Dunkirk Senior Center is planning a trip to the Erie Station Dinner Theater on Sunday, April 16. The comedy is entitled, “Self-Help Farce.” The bus will be departing from the Senior Center at 1:15 p.m. The cost is $80 per member. The Center is also planning a shopping trip to the Millcreek Mall, Christmas Store, Hobby Lobby and lunch at the Golden Corral; or travelers can be dropped off at Presque Isle Casino. The cost of the trip is $50 and will be held May 16. There will be a trip to Sprague’s for Syrup and Slots on May 2, departing at 9:30 a.m. and arriving at Sprague’s for brunch and then on to Seneca Allegany. The cost of the trip is $60. Sign up now at the Senior Center for all three trips.

The Senior Center has also announced that its annual trip to Atlantic City will be Sept. 10 to 14. Stop in the office for the details.

The Senior Center is sponsoring a pancake breakfast on Sunday, April 23. Doors open at 10 a.m. with breakfast being served at 10:30 a.m. Breakfast includes pancakes, ham, sausage and scrambled eggs. The cost is $5 per member. Sign-up starts April 10.

Independent Health will be at the Senior Center on Thursday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for anyone with questions regarding their policy. The next big bingo game will be held Wednesday, April 12. Doors open at 4 p.m. with a light dinner being served at 4:30 p.m. The March birthday lunch will be held March 29. Any member with a March birthday is asked to stop by the center to sign up for their birthday lunch. The birthday member may bring guests at a cost of $10 per guest. Call the Center to sign up for the next Cell phone/tablet class or the next craft class.

Dominoes are played on Wednesday at 1 p.m. MahJongg is Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. Pinochle is Monday and Friday at 1 p.m. Exercise is Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m. The Hand and Foot card game is canceled for the month of March. Tai Chi is Tuesday and Thursday at 3 p.m. Social time is Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Attendees bring their own lunch and can enjoy 25-cent bingo.
