Nine charged after Dunkirk raid

Nine area residents are facing charges after a search warrant led to the finding of fentanyl, methamphetamine and codeine at a 13 Willowbrook Ave., Dunkirk, residence.

Around 6 a.m. Wednesday, the Dunkirk Police Department along with its Special Response Team, Dunkirk Police Narcotics Detectives, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office K-9, the Jamestown Police Narcotics Detectives and FBI Safe Streets took part in the raid at the location after a six-month investigation into narcotics sales. Investigators found 22.91 grams of fentanyl, 0.84 grams of methamphetamine, five dosage units of codeine and scales and packaging material for narcotics sales.

As a result of the narcotics being seized, Robert Kaczor Jr., 28, of Dunkirk, Raymond Provorse, 28, of Brocton, Kathleen Shipley, 26, of Dunkirk, and Natalie Carr, 25, of Fredonia, were charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Taylor Austin, 20, of Cassadaga, and Dakota Cordell, 25, of Dunkirk were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Dunkirk residents James Tilly III, 47, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and Robert Wordell, 25, was charged with first-degree criminal nuisance. Also in the residence was Danielle Gee, 29, who had a valid arrest warrant. All suspects were transported to the Dunkirk Police Department to be arraigned in the City of Dunkirk Court.
