TRC Community Health Center care providers and support staff pose with representatives of The Resource Center and Community Inclusion, Inc., to cut the ribbon at the health center’s 890 East Second Street location in Jamestown and formally mark the change in the practice’s operations. After 30 years of operating under the auspices of The Resource Center, TRC Community Health Center now is managed by Community Inclusion. TRC Community Health Center provides primary care, dental and podiatry services that are available to anyone, and it operates the school-based health center located within Jamestown High School. “It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces coming together to celebrate this exciting milestone,” said Lindsay VandeVelde, CI’s Executive Director. “We are looking forward to what Community Inclusion and TRC Community Health Center can achieve.” With the change in operations, TRC Community Health Center intends to become a regional center of excellence for providing health services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
