Silver Creek Senior Citizens meet

SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on Tuesday, June 3 with 19 members present. President Sally Conover opened the meeting with the Pledge to the flag and all singing God Bless America. Chaplain Pauline Flitt read “God’s Eternal Love” and gave a blessing on the members and the lunch of hot dogs, salads and desserts. Sally welcomed our new member Laura Hilliker. Jokes were offered by Sally C. and Joan Suski.

The 50-50 raffle winners were Earl Sheeler and Ginny Chesbro (twice). Door prizes were won by Sally Shevlin, Lorrie Newman and Earl. Lucky card holders for the wheel were: Jan Polisoto, Lorrie, Ginny (3 times), and Earl. Sally C. called Bingo and winners were: Harry Suski, Janice Snyder (twice), Ginny (3 times), Lorrie, Al Wilson, Gene Chesbro, Sally Shevlin, Pauline, Sue Borowski and Annette Hoeber. Lunch Tuesday will be sandwiches, salads and desserts.

The club meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m. at 1823 Lake Road, Silver Creek and is open to the senior public. Anyone wishing information about the meetings, please call Lorrie at 716-785-1074.
