Purina Foundation grant cycle open for Dunkirk

Nestlé Purina Dunkirk has announced that the Purina Foundation grant application is now open. Formerly known as the Nestlé Purina Charitable Trust, the Foundation has a proud legacy of investing in projects that keep people and pets together and provide vital services for neighbors in need. Each year, the Foundation awards over $1 million to support capital and capacity-building projects in communities where Purina operates.

As a dedicated community partner, Nestlé Purina Dunkirk has been part of Dunkirk since 1972, employing more than 500 local associates who produce high-quality, nutritious pet care products including Dentalife, Friskies and Cat Chow. Last year, Purina Dunkirk supported Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue in the community by investing in the construction of their new animal shelter.

“At Purina, our passion for crafting the best quality food for pets goes hand-in-hand with our commitment to supporting the communities where we live and work,” said Anthony De La O, factory manager at Purina Dunkirk. “We’re excited to announce the opening of the 2025 grant cycle and look forward to making an even greater, long-lasting impact to our community.”
