Last spring, the Gowanda High School Trap Team held its annual can drive. Members were delighted with the community’s outstanding response. The team collected 90,000 cans last year, and was proud to have exceeded that total with 106,083 cans this year. “The level of support we receive from our community for our athletes and this sport is truly commendable,” the team said. “(We) would also like to express my appreciation to Marcus Promber of Can Kings in Irving and Fredonia, and his employees, who worked tirelessly to count all of the cans. Once again, thank you to our community for their incredible support!”
