The Fred Basket food pantry held a sample food pantry Thursday for about 60 residents at One Temple Square in Fredonia.

The event acquainted the residents with Fred Basket options and linked them with transportation services through NY Connects.

An additional sponsor was Fred Farm of Dunkirk with canned produce products donated for the residence. The owner said he used food pantry help when he was getting started and wanted to give back.

Working together with Chautauqua County Office of Aging, NY Connects, FeedMore WNY, and Chautauqua Adult Day Services as well as the staff at One Temple Square, Fred Basket is bringing on-going help to those in need in our community.
