The Family Martial Arts Center of Fredonia recently hosted its monthly movie and game day. Several children of all ages attended to support the event.

“We had families from Dunkirk, Silver Creek, Fredonia, Brocton,” said Bill Matteson of the martial arts center. “All of the children enjoyed playing board games, card games and many other games which we provided for them to enjoy. They enjoyed watching a movie in a peaceful room with parental supervision.

“Everyone had so much fun and are thrilled to return at the next event. Watching the children intertwine with other children and seeing them simply have fun was our goal. No one was permitted any outside electronics. My goal was successful and with the help of some of the parents, we accomplished many smiles and just plain old active children.
