Pupils and students across the region — as well as educators — marked a return to classes this morning. Children were dressed their best for the first day and greeted with smiles from teachers and administrators. Parents also were involved as well. Many took photos of their children leaving for the first day, while others dropped off their youngster at school. Motorists are reminded that reduced speed limits are in effect during school hours around each building.
