New sign lifts spirits of staff at Brooks

Wade Terhune and Jill Zentz proudly admire the Echevarria artwork on display at the hospital outpatient entranceway.

In commemoration of their work during the COVID-19 pandemic, Brooks-TLC staff received a custom steel indoor /outdoor sign from Echevarria Designs LLC of Dunkirk on behalf of the local community.

The custom steel sign has been installed in a place of prominence at the hospital’s outpatient entryway screening area, where all staff and visitors enter the facility.

Gina Echevarria and Mike Riley penned an accompanying note to staff:

“Dear Brooks Memorial Hospital and Staff,

“To all those willing to sacrifice their own safety and well-being in this COVID crisis, we are eternally grateful.

“We wish you safety and health as you forge ahead to get us to the other side of this pandemic. Your contributions are appreciated and we thank you in our prayers, hearts, and minds each and every day.

“The coronavirus knows no borders. The only thing that we can do to protect ourselves and others is to rally together as a community while we physically distance ourselves.

“So to show our appreciation and support, from Echevarria Designs LLC, and on behalf of our local community, we are donating this ‘Thank You Frontline Worker’ sign.

“We hope that you hang this sign in a place where it will show your workers, on a daily basis, that they are truly appreciated.

“Stay Strong and THANK YOU!”
