BROCTON — A new fall festival is coming to Chautauqua County.

The village of Brocton will host its inaugural Arch Festival on Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Ryckman Park on Fay Street. The festival was approved at the most recent Brocton Village Board of Trustees meeting.

“We’ve had a lot of people reaching out. I think it’s going to be very successful,” said Village Trustee Kari Doino.

The village is charging $20 for vendors to set up at the festival, with proceeds going to the Brocton-Portland Food Pantry and the Ahira Hall Memorial Library.

In addition, the Brocton Volunteer Fire Department will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, and chili to raise funds for the fire department.

The village is hopeful to continue the festival in the future. Contact the village office at (716) 792-4160 for more information.
