Employees from 16 nursing and rehabilitation facilities in the McGuire Group, VestraCare and Absolut Care portfolios are coordinating a Ukrainian relief effort at their facilities.

The locations will serve as drop-off centers for supplies that will be sent directly to the people of Ukraine through the Dnipro Ukrainian Cultural Center in Buffalo. Drop-off locations in Chautauqua County are Absolut Care of Westfield, 26 Cass St., Westfield, and the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center 10836 Temple Road, Dunkirk.

Community members are welcome to drop off items through April 6 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. A list of the items that are needed can be found below or by clicking www.mcguiregroup.com/ukraine-supplies. At this time, they are only asking for the specific items on the list.

Monetary donations are also being accepted via check or a designated PayPal account listed on the culture center’s website at www.paypal.com/fundraiser/charity/1438034.
