It could be Sunday when the boil order in Fredonia is lifted for water users.

According to a Facebook post from the village, “Additional testing was needed this morning. We are waiting for results from the county and hope to have them (Sunday) morning. Boil water is still in effect.”

A maintenance issue Wednesday in the reservoir and a disabled storage unit on Webster Road is responsible for this latest crisis, the sixth since 2009 and second in less than four months.
