Village of Fredonia officials announced this morning that turbidity levels in the water system have leveled and that testing is taking place. “While this is a positive development, the boil water order remains in effect until all testing is completed and confirmed safe,” the village said. In the meantime, two distribution rounds are taking place from noon to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the fire department. Around noon, however, the distribution created a major bottleneck on Main Street near the fire department as eastbound traffic was backed up for a quarter-mile.
