Fredonia lifts water conservation order

The village of Fredonia announced Friday that the water conservation order issued last week for customers served by the Village of Fredonia water supply has been lifted.

Village officials confirmed that the reservoir has recovered to normal operating levels, allowing water use to return to standard conditions.

“The village would like to thank all affected water customers for their cooperation and patience while the conservation order was in effect,” said Mayor Michael Ferguson. “Community support was instrumental in helping the reservoir recover quickly.”

Residents may now resume normal water use.
