Submitted Photo A Living Nativity will once again take place during the Light Up Cassadaga festival on Saturday.

CASSADAGA – The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga invite everyone to their annual “Light Up Cassadaga” celebration.

At 4 p.m. Saturday, Santa Claus will be arriving at Ames Common (the park at the corner of Route 60 and Maple Avenue), via fire truck. There will be hot chocolate and fire pits while those attending can also visit the Cassadaga Branch library for cookies and crafts.

Across the street at Park Church there will be a live nativity, with the initial Christmas tree lighting and caroling taking place at 5 p.m. at the park.

After the tree lighting Park Church will host the Cassadaga Talent Showcase at 5:30 p.m. with holiday music provided by area residents.
