SHERIDAN — For over a year since the project was first approved, more than 60 customers have been waiting for the formation of Water District 4 in the town of Sheridan. Now, the contracts for the project to proceed with construction have been officially approved.
At a recent meeting, the Sheridan Town Board approved the low bid for the construction of the newly formed Water District 4. S. St. George Enterprises will handle the construction of the project for $336,200.
Water District 4 will consist of properties along portions of South Roberts Road, Miller Road, and Route 20. The project includes the installation of 62 water services, including meter pits and water meters. The service will connect to the existing water main.
