GOWANDA Debra A. Sowa, 52, of Taylor Hollow Road, Gowanda passed away Tuesday March 25, 2014 at Hospice Buffalo. She was born October 26, 1961 in Gowanda, NY the daughter of the late James O. Johnson and Grace (Tessmer) Johnson who survives and resides in Collins, NY.On June 2, 1990 she married David J. Sowa who survives. Mrs. Sowa loved spending time with her family and attending all their sporting events. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by 2 sons, James and Justin Sowa, both of Gowanda, NY; a daughter, Jessica Sowa, also of Gowanda, NY; a stepson David Sowa Jr. of West Seneca, NY; a stepdaughter, Mary Bridget (Aaron) Golding of Derby, NY and 6 grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother Michael (Sandie) Johnson of Collins, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, William D. Johnson. Friends may call at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc. 105 East Main Street in Gowanda, NY on Friday March 28, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 1 p.m. from the funeral home with Rev.
