Irene K. Leszkowicz

She was born on September 8, 1925 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of the late Matthew and Cecella (Goszka) Kocol.

Irene worked for Western Electric/Lucent Technologies in Tonawanda, NY and Omaha, NE retiring with over 30 years of service. She was known for her work ethic and loyalty. Family was very important to her and she enjoyed going to her cottage at Rushford Lake.

Survivors include two sons Leonard (Donna) Leszkowicz of Silver Creek, NY, and Richard (Bonnie) Leszkowicz of Findley, Ohio; five grandchildren, Daniel, Julianne, Eric (Jessica) and Jason Leszkowicz, Kate (Ryan) Geldermann, a sister Dorothy Garno of Buffalo, NY, also several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Leszkowicz Sr., two brothers, Robert Jankowiak and Peter Jensen and a sister Eleanor Mutka.

Relatives and friends may call at the HoleParker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave., Silver Creek, NY on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 37 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 10AM in St. John Gualbert R.C. Church, 83 Gualbert Ave. Buffalo, NY. Please assemble at the church. Burial will be in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
