Colette P. Gawlowicz passed away on August 26, 2018, formerly of Dunkirk, NY. Dearest sister of Mary Ann (Norman) Begier, Elaine (late William) Mulville and James J. (late Marion) Gawlowicz; loving aunt of Michael (Gayle) Mulville, Martha (Kenneth) Schmitt, Matthew Mulville, Mark (Giana) Mulville, JJ Gawlowicz, Eric Gawlowicz, Mary Beth (Thomas) Damon and Margaret (Randy) Berlin. Also survived by great-nieces and nephews. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends Wednesday from 2-6 p.m. at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2510 Union Rd., Cheektowaga, (2 blocks south of William St.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Cheektowaga. Colette was inducted into the WNY Softball Hall of Fame and played for Koch’s Annies, was a former physical education teacher at Lake Shore Central School, former Attica Golf Club Ladies Champion, graduate of SUNY Brockport and received her Masters from Univ. at Buffalo.
