Shirley J. Dole

Born October 5, 1932 in Schenectady, NY the daughter of Herbert J. and Dorothy M. ( Cooper) King Sr.Shirley married Paul E. Dole in Dayton, N.Y. January 6, 1951. Paul passed away December 11, 2015.Shirley retired from the former Gowanda Psychiatric Center in 1987 after 31 years of state service.Survivors include a son; Eric Dole of Cattaraugus, 2 daughters Julia ( William) Gage of Versailles and Toby Dole of Cattaraugus, grandchildren; Willard C. (Maria) Hall Jr., Michael S. (Tara) Jones, Rachel E. Jones, Alyssa (Jesse) Dash, Ryan P. (Lyndsay) Dole and Cameron H. Dole, great grandchildren; Victoria (Niko) Maziarz, Nathan X. Hall and Graham C. Hall, Katherine Kline, Arayah Hall, Willow Hall, Jacqueline Jones along with a great great grandson Elijah Maziarz. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides her parents and her husband of nearly 65 years Shirley was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristin M. Jones (February 12, 2011) and a grandson, Purvis D. Jones (February 11, 2011) along with 4 sisters, Dorothy Cornwall, Virginia Calhoun, Ruth Sayward, Anna Patricia DeForest and a brother, Herbert J.
