Jaime A. Colon, 65, of Dunkirk died unexpectedly Tuesday evening (Dec. 18, 2018) at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk.
He was born May 24, 1953 in Ciales, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Juan and Maria (Morales) Colon. A longtime resident of the area, Jaime had been employed at Concord Nursery in Silver Creek.
Survivors include two daughters, Jenny Ayala and Nidia Colon; one son, Gabriel Colon; five brothers, Miguel A. Flores, Juan, Jorge, Rafael, and Miguel Colon; five sisters, Mariluz, Margarita, Carmen, Emma, and Rosa Colon; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters; Aida and Magdalena Colon.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday Dec. 26, from 10 a.m. to noon at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
