Jeanette M. (Keith) DePasquale, 89, of Woodbridge, Va., formerly of Silver Creek, NY passed away peacefully Sunday morning February 10, 2019 under Hospice care at Envoy of Woodbridge.Jeanette was born on August 1, 1929 in East Randolph, New York the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mabel (Munney) Keith. She married Sam P. DePasquale on April 29, 1949 and they resided at 16 Monroe St. Silver Creek, NY for 53 years before moving to Woodbridge, VA in 2007.While living in Virginia, Jeanette was an active member of “The Scarlet Hatters” a local chapter of the Ladies Red Hat Society, the Church Hill Dream Quilters, the River Run apartment Saturday morning Coffee Club, River Run Ladies Bingo, and the 4th floor Puzzle Group. She was also a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and the Wood-bridge Senior Center.An avid reader, she loved the library and would sometimes read as many as three books a week. As a member of the Scarlett Hatters Book Club, she met once a month at Wegmans food Market to discuss our current read. She will always be remembered by her River Run neighbors for the beautiful gardens she planted outside her apartment for the enjoyment of all.Her last four years were spent at Envoy of Wood-bridge, VA, a skilled nursing facility. While there she made many friends and continued her avid reading, knitting, and crocheting.Jeanette is survived by two children, Dianne (Frank) Shomper of Wood-bridge, VA and Richard (Susie) DePasquale of Fairport, NY; four cherished grandchildren, Mindy Shomper of Stafford, VA, Anthony DePasquale of Berlin, Germany, Daniel DePasquale of Brockport, NY, and Mary DePasquale of Fairport, NY ; one great grandson Kaleb Charity of Stafford, VA; also surviving are four sisters-in-laws, Jean (Roy) Pulvino of Dunkirk ,NY, Betty Jane Costello of Coral Springs, Fla., Pat (Joe) DePasquale of Silver Creek, NY, and Sylvia (Ken) Keith of Corning, NY, plus many nieces and nephews who will remember her as “Aunt Janet”. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Sam P. DePasquale and a brother, Kenneth (Sylvia) Keith.Relatives and friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church 165 Central Ave. Silver Creek at 10 a.m. with Fr. Daniel Fiebelkorn officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.
