Anthony L. “Tony” Nasca, 81, of Dunkirk died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon (May 25, 2019) in Frederick, Maryland.

He was born March 16, 1938 in Dunkirk, the son of the late Anthony L. Sr. and Mary (Lodico) Nasca. A lifelong Dunkirk resident, Tony was a graduate of Cardinal Mindszenty High School, Class of 1956. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was a prominent business man and the owner/ operator of Convenient Food Mart for over 30 years. His pride and success in his business was the relationships he build within the community.

Tony was a loving family man who was devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed many golf outings with family and friends.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Lakeside Club, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #89, Fredonia Beaver Club, and the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey (Zielinski) Nasca; two sons, Anthony M. (Lisa) Nasca of Fredonia and James (Jenn) Nasca of Cincinnati, Ohio; one daughter, Donna (Peter) Millson of Fredonia; seven grandchildren, Carley Jadrich, Torrie Nasca, Valeri Nasca, Isabelle Nasca, Rocco Nasca, Lauren Millson, and Nicholas Millson; one sister, Elizabeth Donovan of Fredonia; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Nasca-Kuzdale; one brother, David Nasca; and his sister, Margaret Dybeck.

Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5-9 p.m. at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of one’s choice.
