Patty L. Churray

She was born in Washington, Pennsylvania, June 28, 1944 a daughter to the late Harold J. Jones and Betty M. (Bane) Jones.

After high school, Patty began her career as a housekeeper for the Colonial Squire and the Pines Motel, both of Ripley, New York then had been employed by several other motel/hotels in the County. She concluded her career as a Chamber Maid at the White Inn in Fredonia, New York.

Patty was married to Robert J. Churray, Sr. whom preceded her in death on November 18, 2008.

She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and playing cards and board games.

She is survived by her son, Robert J. Churray, Jr. of Ohio and her nieces and nephews, Val Colt, Roy (Lisa) Colt, and Beth Colt.

In addition to her parents and husband, Patty was preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene L. Colt in 1986, her sister Violet Colt, brother-in-law, Albert Colt and a nephew Albert “Tigger” Colt, Jr.

Friends and family may call at the MORSE Funeral Home, 51 Highland Avenue, Brocton, NY on Thursday, June, 6th, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and again on Friday, June 7th, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. The Funeral will be officiated by the Rev. Larry Morrison of the Brocton Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Portland Evergreen Cemetery in Portland, NY.

Memorial contributions may be made in Patty’s memory to the Portland Volunteer Fire Department, 6841 West Main St, Portland, NY 14769.
