Faye G. Kelley

Faye G. Kelley, age 80, of Webster Road, Brocton,NY passed unexpectedly but peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Williamsville, NY following a brief illness.

Faye was born in Lackawanna, NY to George and Doris (Goss) Ertell on November 11, 1938. She moved to Brocton, NY at the age 17 after meeting the love of her life and husband of 56 years, Ed (Tuffy) Kelley.

Mrs. Kelley occasionally worked tying grapes, at the pickle factory and Luther Dean’s packing house for BINGO money, but her most rewarding roles were that of a wife, mother and grandmother.

Faye is survived by her 6 children: Eileen Baldridge of Brocton, NY, Joanne Kohler of Brocton,NY, Barbara Riewaldt of Westfield, NY, Cheryl (Charles “Chip”) Clutter of Enoree, SC, Edwin “Butch” Kelley and Michelle Kelley both of Brocton, NY, one sister Debbie (Fricano) Snider of Olean, NY and Janet (Fricano) Koustas of New Jersey; fourteen grandchildren: Jennifer, Kimberly, Jeramiah, Shannon, Christopher, Christy, John, Matthew, Danielle, David, Janelle, Stephanie, Logan and Connor, twenty-three great-grandchildren: Cora, Joseph, Lilijana, Makenzie, Nalani, Brianna, Morganne, Jimmie, Gracelyn, Ian, Kyleigh, Peyton, Ryan, Johnny, Leigha, Cael, Elizabeth, Grayson, Alyvia, Cayne, Larkin, Abram, Virgina, Mary-Jane, Elora and Ryder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Kelley, one great-grandchild, Jayden Riewaldt, sisters Carol (Ertell) Joyce, Lois (Ertell) Cottone, and brothers George Ertell, Paul Ertell, Leonard Fricano.

Faye loved her family with her whole heart and it showed with every smile, touch and every piece of advice she gave. Her smile was contagious, her laugh could light up a room and her hugs could cure a broken heart. She found joy in the little things in life, was quick with a joke, the first one to offer help, and knew the power of a kind word. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, drawing, lotto tickets, a good cup of coffee, dancing, going out to lunch/dinner, and traveling with her husband. Above all else, Mrs. Kelley was deeply devoted to her family and will be dearly missed. The family takes comfort that she has been reunited in death with her husband and that they are now together and touring the great campground in the sky.
