David Youngerman
David Youngerman, of Chicago, Illinois died on November 14, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Naomi Aronson, son Josh Youngerman, brother and sister-in-law Stephen and Miriam Youngerman. He was the son of Dr. Henry and Mrs. Ida Youngerman long time residents of Fredonia.
He was a graduate of Fredonia High School ’68, the University of Rochester ’72 and the University of Chicago Law School ’79.
He was a longtime mediator and a proponent of equal rights of religion, gender and freedom of speech.
He was named Citizen of the Year by the Wilmette Chamber of Commerce and received the Wilmette Rotary Club Unity of Diversity Award. He was an active member of Hakafa Synagogue having been in its choir for over 20 years.
