Lisa D. Schindler

Lisa D . ” Mona” Schindler age 59 passed away unexpectedly at her home in Sarasota , Fla . Wednesday November 27, 2019.

Lisa was born in Gowanda June 10, 1960 the daughter of Hugh ” Buster” and Jacqueline ( Kumpf ) Schindler . She was a graduate of Gowanda Central School , Class of ’78, she went on to receive her Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation Therapy at Brockport State , Class of ’82.

Besides her father Hugh ” Buster” Schindler of Gowanda Lisa is survived by a son Korey (Torrey) Schindler of Tampa. A Brother Keith ( Jen) Schindler of Gowanda and a sister Laurie ( Bob) Zeman of Sarasota . Along with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins and friends .

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother Jacqueline Kumpf Schindler June 29,2017 and her brother Kevin ” Mad Dog “ Schindler August 13, 2019.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday January 11, 2020 at 11am from the St. Joseph’s RC Church East Main St. Gowanda with burial to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her mother , brother and maternal grandparents .
