Shirley E. Taylor

Shirley E. (Mason) Taylor, 74, passed away December 1, 2019.

She was born May 27, 1945 in Silver Creek, NY the daughter of the late Peter G. and Fannie A. (Geer) Mason.

Shirley was a homemaker to her husband and children, and often times, anyone who needed a place to stay. She helped run the family business, Taylor and Sons farm which grew apples and grapes for Welch’s. She was a volunteer at the First United Presbyterian Church’s clothing center in Silver Creek, NY.

She is survived by her husband, Billy A. Taylor whom married August 21, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland, three sons, Mark (Andrea) Taylor of Fort Myers, Fl., Bradley (Debbie) Taylor of Silver Creek, NY and Matthew (Taunia) Taylor of Atlanta, Ga, one daughter, Brenda Taylor (Wayne Brustad) of Bradenton, Fl., 18 Grandchildren Lexus, Riley, Justin, Braelin, Caitlin, Jennifer, Brian, Bradley, Jackie, Lorenzo, Quala, Desmond, Jazmyne, Julyana, Justin, Micah, Marcus, Matthew and 10 Great Grandchildren Malachi, Elijah, Emersyn, Bryce, Vincent, Sayda, Bexley, Kendall, Reagan, Zachary.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, William “Billy” Taylor, Steven Taylor, Susan Taylor, her sister Rebecca A. “Becky” Mason Dodge, Peter J. Mason, James “Jimmy” M. Mason, Richard “Dick” Mason.

Friends and relatives may call Riles and Woolley Funeral Home 39 Main St. Forestville, NY on Thursday December 5 at 2-4 pm and 7-9pm from where Funeral Services will also be held Friday December 6 at 11am with Reverend Thomas Burian officiating.

There will be a memorial service luncheon held at First United Presbyterian Church 35 Park Place, Silver Creek, NY after Funeral Services at 1:00pm.
