Lindsey M. Anderson

She was born Oct. 10, 1986 in Dunkirk, the daughter of Jack and Patricia (Gula) Anderson of Fredonia.

An area resident for most of her life, Lindsey was a graduate of Fredonia High School, class of 2004 and SUNY Fredonia in 2008 graduating with a degree in public relations. She had been employed as an insurance agent for Geico Insurance in Denver.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her sister, Nicole (Chris) Grey of Grahamsville, N.Y.; maternal grandmother, Joan Gula of Dunkirk; one niece, Jamie A. Grey; one nephew, Hunter C. Grey; and four aunts: Sally (Jon) Anderson, Susan Farnham, Bonnie Gula and Kathy Dougan; one uncle, Doug (Debbie) Gula; and eight cousins: Rachelle Abbotte, Vanessa Ricotta, Jessie Dougan, Jacob Dougan, Donald Gula, Lisa Hanson, Tom Douglas and Kristen Williams.

Lindsey was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John C. Gula and paternal grandparents, Joseph L. and June Anderson; and uncles Dan Anderson and Jerald Farnham.

Lindsey had a free spirit who loved the outdoors particularly hiking and skiing, was an avid Bills fan, and was an enthusiastic fan of The Office. She lived to spend time with her niece and nephew and cherished every moment that she got to spend with them. Her personality and charisma is lived on through her last love Snapchat. She will be dearly missed but would want everybody to continue to live their life to the fullest.

Following the guidelines and protocols administered by the Governor of New York, family and friends may call from 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Jan Trela will officiate.
