Carolyn Pierce

Carolyn was the wife of the late Paul Pierce. She was predeceased by her parents Marvis and Lillian Jimerson and also 5 sisters Dorothy Jimerson, Christenson, Hazel Black, Barbara Huff and Freda Lay and a brother Walden “Sonny” Jimerson.

She is survived by her family B. Kathy Pierce, Paula Mongan, Tom J. Pierce and her grandson Neil Mongan.

Carolyn was a life long member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church where she served faithfully as Sunday school teacher, cleaner and in every other job she saw that needed to be done. She was an original member of the Seneca Women’s Suffrage group who got Seneca women the right to vote. She was a hard worker for this group.

Carolyn was loyal and faithful in everything she did, always thinking of others first. She is sorely missed by many, her sense of humor was well known by everyone. Our comfort is that she is with the Lord now and with her beloved Paul.

Friends may call Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Wentland Funeral Home 10634 Main St. (Rt 62) N. Collins, NY, and Saturday from 10-11 a.m. where funeral services will take place at 11 a.m.
