Maureen Jaffray-Dezemo

Maureen Jaffray- Dezemo, 62, born Jan. 20, 1959, passed away April 8, 2021, at home, with her loving husband by her side.

A true lover of nature, she and John spent her last years enjoying their “Cabin in the Woods”, surrounded by the creek, trees, good times, and dear friends. She loved hunting, fishing, boating in Sacandega Lake, soaking up the sun, but most importantly, spending time with her Husband, and her grandkids, with whom she loved with her heart and soul.

Survived by husband of 19 years, and true soulmate, John Dezemo; her children, including her daughter Pamela Dye (Phillip Erick); her grandchildren, including Zacharry Barlette-Dye (Olivia Booth) Nathanial Barlette-Dye, Emily Barlette-Dye, Brandon Erick (Kelsie Kucharski) Dakota Erick; step children Becky, Jim, and Jay, and step grandchildren; siblings: Sheila Jaffray Zwick, James Jaffray, Douglas Jaffray (Mary Lou St. George); sister-in-law Charmaine Fuller Jaffray; and many nieces and nephews; her parents, Alfred (Bud) and Genevieve (Jean) Jaffray Brother Richard Jaffray; sister-in-law Kristen.

A small graveside service will be held on May 3, 2021, at noon, at Robinson Cemetary, Airport Road, Northville, N.Y. Per her request, there is no visitation. The family will hold a celebration of life this summer.
