In loving memory of Gordon D. (Price) Keech 56, of Stockton, wo died unexpectedly on Aug. 10, 2022.
Loving husband and father loved deeply and missed beyond measure.
He was born in Olean N.Y.on Aug. 31, 1965, to Faith M. Covert Price and the late Cletus Price.
He was a welder, and metal fabricator, smelter pourer and mold maker for Marsh Valve Foundry in Dunkirk, until they closed. He then worked for Dawson Doors and Metal Co. of Jamestown. He then worked for Dunkirk Metal Products at their Brockton plant until he received a debilitating back injury. He also loved to build with wood and built many kitchen cabinets, bar tops, corner cabinets and repaired furniture. He liked to scroll saw and made many projects. But his true passion was playing the guitar. He was self taught and did take a few lessons from Crinos. He loved to learn songs from new and old bands. He taught many friends and family to play.
He is survived by his wife and partner of 37 years, Kimberly K. DeGolier, whom he married on June 11, 1994 also of Stockton; his two sons: Robert D. Keech and Jacob L. Keech; two grandchildren: London R. and Zoe J. along with their mother, Kaylee N .Keech of Jamestown; his mom, Faith M. Keech of Cassadaga; brothers: David (Dorthy) Keech, Craig Keech and Timoty keech of Cassadaga, and Gregory Keech of Brocton; his sisters: Connie Price of Yulee, Fla., Cheryl (John) Belote of Sinclairville, and Tammy Welch of Cassadaga; his late brother, Williams (fiance, Melissa Rose) of Cassadaga; and many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Dickson Keech; and brother, William Keech; maternal grand parents and praternal grandparents; his aunt, Cleo Brown of Del Rio, Texas; uncles: Rick and Jerry Covert; and aunt, Phillys Covert Shaffer.
No funeral services will be held, instead family and friends will be holding a memorial services on Aug. 31, 2022 at his home in Stockton. Family will be planting his favorite tree a Red Maple in his honor.
