Ralph Peters Jr.

GOWANDA — Abdullah Abdulraham of Gowanda, passed away Thursday Sept. 15, 2022, at home. He was 73.

Born in Gowanda, June 15, 1949, the son of Ralph Sr. and June (Ketterl) Peters.

Butch honorably served with the U.S. Navy from 1968-77 during the Vietnam War.

He was an over the road truck driver, at the time of his retirement Butch worked for JB Hunt Trucking.

Survivors include his mother, June Peters.

Butch was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Sr. (Nov. 23, 1999); his sister. Diane Oatman (Jan. 30, 2009)’ and a brother Norman Peters (Dec. 30, 2013).

As per “Butch’s request a private burial will take place in the McKean Memorial Park Cemetery ; Pennsylvania .

Arrangements are by the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME 44 Center St., Gowanda.

Memorials, if desired may be made to a local charity of ones choice.
