Paul B. Meredith
After a short illness, Paul B. Meredith, 66, of Ripley, NY, died at Westfield Memorial Hospital in Westfield, NY, on April 23, 2023. He was born on October 30, 1956, in Bangor, ME to the late George and Lorraine (Windship) Meredith.
Paul lived most of his life in Ripley, NY. It was there that he met the love of his life, Shirley (Dunlap) Meredith. Together ,they raised their four children, who were educated in the Ripley School District.
Paul proudly served in the US Navy from whence he received an honorable discharge. He was a hard worker, who was employed as a machinist at the SKF Machine Shop in Falconer, NY and the Dana Machinist Shop in Erie, PA.
During hunting season, Paul was a dedicated hunter who enjoyed being outdoors. When it was time for football, Paul could be found faithfully watching and rooting for his favorite team, the New York Giants.
Besides his wife, Shirley, Paul is survived by his children: Heather (Russ) Ewing, Paula and Samantha Meredith, and his son, Jason, Meredith, all of Ripley, NY; his sisters, Karen, Kelly, and Karol and brother Dave Meredith.; and 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
At the request of the Family, Paul’s Funeral Service will be private.
All arrangements have been entrusted to Michael R. Fantauzzi, Director, of the MATHEWS FUNERAL HOME, 104 West Main Street, Ripley, NY.
