Frederick “Phred” Richard Ellis

76 of Ripley NY, passed away Saturday October 14, 2023 with family by his side.

He was born on August 26, 1947 as the son of the late Clarence W. and Maryetta B. Ellis. Fred spent his life working as a Carpenter, Farmer, Mechanic and Truck Driver. Fred enjoyed collecting John Deere Tractors, spending time with friends telling jokes, and sharing with everyone his knowledge in great detail.

Surviving are his children Brent (Nacole) Ellis, Erica (Tim) Munson and Heather Mencer. Grand- children Jordan Ellis and Khloe Munson. Sister Phyllis (David) Yannitell. Nephews Scot (Shelia) Bauer, Eric (Christi) Bauer.

Calling hours will be observed Thursday October 26, 2023 at the Mathew’s Funeral Home in Ripley NY from 6-8PM.
