Jesse W. Seeley
Jesse W. Seeley, 58, of Forestville, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. He was born on February 14, 1967 in Irving, son of the late Harvey and Rosalie (Huff) Seeley Sr. On September 5, 1998, he married the former Jennifer Chase, who survives.
Jesse was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians, Wolf Clan, as well as the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Perrysburg. Currently he was employed at Cherry Creek Woodcraft, and previously had worked as a slot tech at the Seneca Allegany Casino for many years. Jesse truly loved his family and grandchildren, and always enjoyed being outside and appreciated history. He also loved football, and especially following the Buffalo Bills.
Besides his loving wife of almost 27 years, Jesse is survived by one son, Adam Seeley of Forestville, and two daughters; Sara Seeley of South Dayton, and Mikayla Seeley of Erie, PA. Also surviving is a brother, David Seeley, a sister, Rose Seeley, a step-brother, Bert Seeley, a step-sister, Ethel Frary, and four grandchildren; Madex, Caleb, Jalyn Rose, and Atlas, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Jesse is predeceased by two step-brothers, Harvey Seeley Jr. and Daniel Seeley, and two step-sisters, Ruth Hilliker and Lane Reinshmidt.
Friends may call on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 11 am to 12 pm Noon from Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 East Main St. in Gowanda.
Funeral services will immediately follow at 12 pm Noon from the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jesse’s family.
