Pauline Frances Trindel
Pauline Frances Trindel (nee LeGrano), 81, passed away peacefully on Aug. 31, 2025, at Cornerstone Hospice House in Tavares, Florida.
Born on Oct. 27, 1943, in Dunkirk, New York, Pauline was baptized and confirmed at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church in Fredonia and remained devoted to her Catholic faith throughout her life. In later years, she was a parishioner of Saint Timothy’s Catholic Church in The Villages, Florida.
She shared a loving marriage with her husband Jerry until his passing in 2002. Together they raised five children, Kathy, Robin, Sherie, Paul, and Kelly, and built a home filled with love and strength of spirit. Pauline was especially loved and respected by her children, who she always prioritized and encouraged to excel in every aspect of their lives. She will be remembered fondly by her family, including eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
For nearly twenty years, Pauline owned and operated the Morning Glory Bed and Breakfast Country Inn in Bemus Point NY, which she filled with beauty and warmth, carefully tending to its gardens. Guests and family remember it as a beautiful place, full of care and creativity. Pauline was pleased to host many family celebrations there, including birthdays, christenings, and weddings.
Pauline found joy in an active lifestyle, including golf and tennis, and was a gifted artist and craftswoman whose creations have become cherished keepsakes. In recent years she especially enjoyed painting Hummingbirds, flowers, and sunsets. She leaves behind beautiful artwork that her family will treasure for generations.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry; her parents, Paul and Frances LoDico LeGrano; her sisters, Lucille and Gertrude; and her brother, Rocco.
Pauline’s spirit touched all who knew her. She was deeply loved by her family, who will forever carry her warmth, guidance, and devotion in their hearts. May she rest in eternal peace, embraced by the grace of God.
