Robert A. Mitchell, 87, of Dunkirk, passed away suddenly Wednesday evening, July 23, 2025 at home. Born in Boston, MA, on Aug. 31, 1937, he was the husband of the late Jacqueline (Baumgardt) Mitchell and son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Foote) Mitchell. Robert had a distinguished career as the Plant Manager of the Sewer and Water Treatment Department for the City of Dunkirk.
