Lauretta E. Washy August 9, 1939-January 2, 2025 Gowanda - Lauretta E. Washy, 85, of Gowanda passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. She was born on August 9, 1939, daughter of the late Leonard and Anna (Lizotte) Bourgoine. On June 4, 1960, she married Andrew Washy, who predeceased her on October 6, 2001. Mrs. Washy was a longtime and devout member of St. Joseph’s RC Church in Gowanda, and had also worked in the cafeteria of the St. Joseph’s School for many years.
