As numbers grow, helpful tips for budding socialists
We would like to offer some helpful tips for our budding socialists.
A recent U.S. poll claimed that 55% of U.S. voters under the age of 30 favor socialism, and they complain the economy does not work for them.
This begs an obvious question: Why do the 55% claim the economy does not work for them? Are they saying that they are not free to pursue personal dreams because they are taxed to death to support deadbeats? (No, that’s the 45% who oppose socialism.) The 55% apparently believe the government should take from those who produce, and give it to people who do not.
How many of the 55% favoring socialism spent four years partying in college at taxpayer expense, only to get a useless degree, while ignoring the real opportunities in the trades? How many of the 55% were passed through the public school system and handed a meaningless diploma, yet believe they are entitled to a good-paying job for which they never prepared?
More importantly: Why do the other 45% favor economic freedom over socialism? Perhaps the 45% who oppose socialism understand that individuals must take the initiative to work for the economy, rather than demanding that the economy work for them. They have an entirely different outlook on life than the entitled 55%.
There is a huge cultural divide between the 55% who would surrender their aspirations and accept socialism and the 45% who would not. Yet, our economy depends on the 45%.
In spite of the cultural differences, we would like to offer some suggestions to help the socialists create their dream, while peacefully coexisting with the rest of us. There is no need to deconstruct the free-market economy. Those favoring socialism only need to demonstrate the warmth of collectivism with a voluntary socialist enterprise.
Here are some helpful hints for those who favor socialism …
First, you don’t need a bloody revolution to build your socialist dream – that’s old-school and very messy. More than 100 million innocents were murdered in the 20th century building socialism, and entire economies were destroyed. Instead, your socialist project must be voluntary, and insure peaceful coexistence with those who don’t accept your vision. Yes, you must learn to coexist!
Use your organizing skills to form a voluntary community of people who share your socialist beliefs. This should be even easier than organizing an ANTIFA rally in Minneapolis. You don’t need a physical commune; you can create a virtual community using social media tools you already have.
Here’s how it works:
— Organize your socialist enterprise along with like-minded comrades. This shouldn’t be difficult, because there are 25 million of you under 30.
— End the “mostly peaceful” riots, which are rather cliched and old-school. Demonstrate the virtues of socialism by actually doing socialism, rather than parroting abstract Marxist theories that nobody understands anyway (not even Marx).
— The main premise of socialism is that private ownership is theft, so there can be no private property allowed in your enterprise. Your socialist comrades will voluntarily surrender all their existing wealth and future labor to your collective enterprise. Bernie Sanders will lead the way with George Soros and Tom Steyer.
— Implement Karl Marx’s primary rule: “To each according to his needs, from each according to his abilities”.
— Create a database defining the individual needs and abilities of everyone in your community. You can safely assume that your honorable socialists won’t lie about their needs or their abilities to “game” the system.
— Employ the time-honored centralized planning system that made socialism great in the 20th century. The five-year plans were especially effective.
— Get a Harvard economics graduate to develop an algorithm to re-distribute the collective wealth of your community according to each person’s needs in a way that is totally equal.
— Establish socialized medicine by recruiting from the many medical professionals who claim to support it. Recruit doctors who can work 80-hour weeks (according to their ability), and pay them just enough to meet their needs – just like in Cuba. This will separate the true believers in socialized medicine from the virtue-signaling phonies.
— Establish heavily armed internal security to deal with bread lines in the event that history repeats itself.
When you have completed this process, you will have demonstrated the warmth of collectivism for the entire world to see. Then, the rest will want to bask in the warmth of your socialist enterprise.
Those who fail to join you will never experience the warmth of collectivism – but you must respect their right to suffer in their ignorance. They won’t bother you if you don’t bother them.
Just coexist.
That was easy.
