History, environment still an issue
Editor, OBSERVER:
I am unsure what is getting local officials so excited about this time in Chautauqua’s history. They killed one golden goose when they demolished the national landmark Amphitheater to build a $42 million replica, and now the other magnet for drawing visitors as well as ensuring a healthy environment, Chautauqua Lake is on life support.
