Donors, events keep Camp Gross going
Editor, OBSERVER:
A big thank you to the city of Dunkirk Recreation Department, Ryan Hall and his staff for another spectacular year of Day Camp in Cassadaga at Camp Gross. This is a great help to our financial security and it helps us to maintain a natural habitat for the youth of Chautauqua County.
Individuals who are interested in supporting this facility are invited to join us on Saturday for our second annual Dr. John R. Forbes Memorial Golf tournament. The tourney is a nine-hole, shot gun start starting at 10 a.m. at the Cassadaga Country Club. Fredonia Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram will be sponsoring a hole-in-one car give away on Hole 8 and Shults Auto Group will sponsor a hole-in-one on Hole 6 as well as other interesting prizes. Farrell Roofing has provided a golf bag for a door prize.
To register your two-person team contact Cassadaga Country Club at 595-3003 to be one of the 27 teams to participate in the tournament.
SALLY LAWSON,
Cassadaga
